Questions people ask

Does the countdown handle different time zones?

Yes. Choose the host's time zone and everyone counts down to the same instant. The end date appears in the viewer's time zone and the host's zone when they differ. Times skipped or repeated by daylight saving prompt you to choose an unambiguous time.

Can I embed this countdown timer on my site?

Yes. Choose a light or dark theme and optional compact size, then copy the iframe from Get embed code. The background is transparent so it fits your page. A small Made with Perkadoo link stays underneath.

What happens when the giveaway countdown reaches zero?

Doo cheers, confetti celebrates once and your end message appears. On the full tool page, Pick your winners takes you to our free Winner Picker. The timer does not close entries or pick a winner automatically.

Is the countdown clock free?

Yes. Create, share, embed and add it to your calendar without signing up. Your setup stays in your browser; shared links contain the countdown details, so anyone with the link can read them.

Will the countdown stay accurate if I close my laptop?

Yes. Every tick is calculated from the end instant and your device clock. When the page becomes visible again, it updates immediately. Keep your device clock set automatically for the most accurate result.
