Set it up in 5 steps

  1. Set your giveaway's end time in the free countdown timer and choose Get embed code.
  2. Choose the Shopify tab and copy the code.
  3. In your Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes and click Customize on your theme.
  4. Open the page you want, click Add section and choose Custom Liquid.
  5. Paste the code into the Custom Liquid field and click Save.

Questions

Can I add a countdown timer to Shopify?

Yes. Make a countdown on Perkadoo, choose the Shopify tab and paste the code where it should appear. This is a theme section, not a Shopify app. Shopify's own themes include Custom Liquid. If yours doesn't list it, check your theme's documentation.

Is the countdown free?

Yes, with no sign-up. The embed carries a small Made with Perkadoo link.

Will it update if I change the end time?

No. The end time is part of the code. Make the change in the countdown timer and paste the new code.
