Set it up in 5 steps

  1. Set your giveaway's end time in the free countdown timer and choose Get embed code.
  2. Choose the Ghost tab and copy the code.
  3. In the Ghost editor, click + on a new line (or type /) and choose HTML.
  4. Paste the code into the HTML card.
  5. Preview or publish the post. The editor may show the card blank.

Questions

Can I add a countdown timer to Ghost?

Yes. Make a countdown on Perkadoo, choose the Ghost tab and paste the code where it should appear. Email clients don't show iframes, so the embed appears on the web post, not in the newsletter.

Is the countdown free?

Yes, with no sign-up. The embed carries a small Made with Perkadoo link.

Will it update if I change the end time?

No. The end time is part of the code. Make the change in the countdown timer and paste the new code.
