Add a giveaway countdown to Wix

Set it up in 6 steps

  1. Set your giveaway's end time in the free countdown timer and choose Get embed code.
  2. Choose the Wix tab and copy the code.
  3. In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements → Embed Code → Popular Embeds → Embed HTML.
  4. Click the new element, choose Enter Code, paste the code and click Apply.
  5. Drag the element's handles until the whole countdown shows, about 580px tall. The code fills whatever size you give the element.
  6. Publish and check the live page.

Questions

Can I add a countdown timer to Wix?

Yes. Make a countdown on Perkadoo, choose the Wix tab and paste the code where it should appear. Wix shows HTML embeds inside their own frame and only displays HTTPS content. Every Perkadoo embed is HTTPS.

Is the countdown free?

Yes, with no sign-up. The embed carries a small Made with Perkadoo link.

Will it update if I change the end time?

No. The end time is part of the code. Make the change in the countdown timer and paste the new code.
