Add a giveaway countdown to Squarespace
Build the hype before the draw. Make a countdown, copy the Squarespace code and the clock ticks live on your page.
Set it up in 5 steps
- Set your giveaway's end time in the free countdown timer and choose Get embed code.
- Choose the Squarespace tab and copy the code.
- Edit the page, click Add block (or +) and choose Code.
- Click the block's pencil icon, set Mode to HTML and paste the code.
- Save, then preview the page. If the embed is hidden while you're logged in, use Preview in Safe Mode.

Can I add a countdown timer to Squarespace?
Yes. Make a countdown on Perkadoo, choose the Squarespace tab and paste the code where it should appear. Iframes and scripts in Code blocks need the Core, Plus or Advanced plan.
Is the countdown free?
Yes, with no sign-up. The embed carries a small Made with Perkadoo link.
Will it update if I change the end time?
No. The end time is part of the code. Make the change in the countdown timer and paste the new code.
