Giveaways

Create a hosted giveaway, collect entries, review eligibility and announce winners.

A hosted giveaway gives you an entry page, official rules, an entrant list and a public result. For names you already have, use the free Winner Picker instead.

Create your giveaway

  1. Open Giveaways in your workspace and start a new giveaway for the right brand.
  2. Enter the giveaway name, prize, number of winners and opening/closing dates. Check the timezone before sharing a deadline.
  3. Choose the entry sources you will use. Website email entry and supported connected social sources are separate choices; only enable sources you can actually operate.
  4. Open the rules, fill in the sponsor, eligibility and free entry method, and review the prize and platform details. Choose Approve rules after the current draft is correct. Editing those details can require approval again.
  5. Start the giveaway. A free workspace can prepare a draft; a hosted live giveaway requires an eligible paid plan or one-off purchase. Complete the unlock and readiness steps shown by the editor.

Do not share a draft as if it is accepting entries. Open the public link in a signed-out browser and confirm the giveaway is open with the correct prize, rules and entry fields.

Collect entries

Share the hosted page or add a giveaway banner to your own site. Entry includes agreement to the official rules. Optional marketing consent is separate from entering; preserve that distinction when exporting or contacting entrants.

If your plan offers bonus entries, choose the actions you can verify and describe them in the rules. A completed referral entry is different from a visit or an entrant saying they shared. Share cards and invite links carry the source back to the giveaway.

Review the entrant list

Open Entries before drawing. Review flagged entries, remove ineligible entries according to the published rules, and inspect the source breakdown. Export CSV is available when your giveaway's plan allows it; the export includes consent information, not permission to market to every entrant.

Connected comment sources need a final sync and eligibility review. A platform connection does not establish every condition in your rules, such as following an account or meeting an age requirement.

Draw and announce

  1. Wait for entries to close, or explicitly end the giveaway when your rules allow it.
  2. Finish eligibility review. Check the number of winners and prize assignments.
  3. Choose Draw winners and read the final confirmation. Drawing is final and publishes the result.
  4. Open the public results and share its link or winner card. Contact winners through the contact route stated in your rules and deliver the actual prize.

A public randomness proof verifies the recorded selection. It does not prove that a host included every eligible person, checked every rule or delivered the prize.
