Perks

Create a reward, stock codes, attach it to a milestone or giveaway and track grants.

A perk is a reward you give for a milestone or win. A perk in your library is separate from a grant: the grant records that a particular member earned it.

Create a perk

  1. Open Perks for the right brand and choose New perk.
  2. Give it a name and choose its type. Add the reward value or destination, optional worth and expiry, then save.
  3. For a coupon, create the real redeemable code in your store or membership platform first. Perkadoo records and reveals the reward; the platform accepting the code controls what it buys and whether it can be redeemed.

Avoid using a public resource URL as if it enforces paid access. Protect the resource in the system that hosts it.

Use unique codes

Open the coupon perk and add codes under Unique codes. Paste one code per line and check Codes left. Until unique codes are added, a configured shared code is given to everyone.

When a unique pool runs out, inspect Waiting for a code and replenish it. A grant waiting for a code is not a delivered reward. Track the grant's state before telling a member their reward has arrived.

Choose how it is earned

  • Streak milestone: open the streak's milestone rewards and attach the perk to the intended milestone. Test the milestone and member identity before going live.
  • Giveaway prize: add the perk to a draft giveaway and choose the prize slot. Review the rules and prize details before approving and starting it.
  • Individual grant: use Give it to someone when available, with the same stable member ID used by that streak.

The perk's Given by section shows where it is attached. Editing a library perk does not replace the need to check the rules of a giveaway already shared with entrants.

Deliver and track it

The perk toast can reveal an earned reward on your site. Protected coupon/link values require signed member identity. If you use outbound webhooks, your receiver performs the email or other delivery; a webhook acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery or redemption.

In Perks, distinguish Given, Seen, Redeemed and Waiting for a code. Redemption must be recorded by the relevant supported workflow or operator; showing a code is not the same as using it.
