A giveaway picker your followers can check
Once you lock the list, nobody can steer who wins, including you and Perkadoo. Anyone who cries "rigged" can open the results page and rerun the pick. Free for up to 10,000 entries and 100 winners, no account.

What each kind of proof shows
A screen recording
Shows one spin landing on a name. It can't show the list was complete, or that you didn't record ten spins and post the one you liked.
A certificate from the picker
Says which name won, issued by the site that picked it. Followers have to take that site's word for it.
A results page anyone can rerun
Shows the locked list, the random number and the steps that turn them into winners. A follower can redo the pick and get the same names.
How a Perkadoo draw is checked
The list is locked first
When you pick, Perkadoo fingerprints the exact list. Change one name and the fingerprint changes, so a swapped list shows.
Then a public number arrives
The pick waits for the next drand round, a signed random number the League of Entropy publishes every few seconds. It doesn't exist yet when you lock the list, so nobody can know it in advance.
The winners follow from both
The list and the number go through a published recipe that always gives the same winners. There's no setting to steer it.
Anyone can check it
The results page has a Run the check button. It fetches the number from drand in the follower's own browser and works the winners out again.
What the check covers
The check covers the pick from the list you locked. You build that list, so it can't show you included every eligible entry, and followers never see a draw you didn't share.
So do both in public. Post the entry count when entries close, draw once with your backups in the same draw, and share that one results link.
Before you announce the winner
- Your rules said how the winner would be picked and when.
- You removed your own account, duplicates and anyone who broke the entry rules.
- You posted how many entries made it into the draw.
- You drew your winner and backups in one draw.
- The results link is in your announcement post or story.

Questions people ask
What makes a giveaway picker verifiable?
The entry list is fixed before the random number exists, and anyone can redo the pick from the published list and number. Perkadoo uses a drand round published after you lock the list, and every results page shows the list fingerprint, the round and the recipe.
How do I prove my Instagram giveaway wasn't rigged?
Paste the comments into the Instagram comment picker, apply your caption's rules, pick, and post the results page link with your announcement. Followers can open it and run the check themselves.
Is the verifiable picker free?
Yes. Winner Picker and the comment pickers take up to 10,000 entries and 100 winners with no account. Names appear on a public results page.
Can ChatGPT or Claude pick a verifiable winner?
Not on its own: nobody else can check a chat model's pick. Connect Perkadoo's MCP server, no account needed, and the assistant calls draw_winners instead. That returns the winners and a results page anyone can check.
How long does the results page stay up?
The page stays up. Unless you save the draw to a free account, the names come off after 30 days. The fingerprint stays, so the list still can't be swapped.
