Add a streak to your newsletter or course

Pick the one action you want members to repeat. Each day they do it, the flame grows.

1. Reading an issue

On a Ghost publication, a signed-in member who visits to read keeps the streak alive.

2. Finishing a lesson

On LearnDash, Teachable or Thinkific, each completed lesson counts. Students come back for one more.

3. Showing up in the community

On Circle, a post or comment counts, so regulars get noticed and quiet members get a nudge.

4. Using what they pay for

On Memberstack, send your own member event, like opening a paid resource. Members who use the membership keep paying for it.

1. Create a streak program

Sign up free and name the habit, like Read every issue or One lesson a day.

2. Connect your platform

Install the WordPress or LearnDash plugin, paste the script into Ghost's code injection, or send events from Kajabi or Teachable through Zapier or Make.

3. Set milestone perks

Reward 7, 30 or 100 days with a discount code, a bonus lesson or early access.

4. Watch who comes back

The dashboard shows every streak and who's at risk of breaking one, so you can nudge them in time.

• Count one action a day, not five. A streak should take a minute to keep.
• Put the first perk early, at 3 or 7 days, so members feel it working.
• When a streak breaks, invite them back. Never shame them.
• Show the count where members already are: on the lesson page, the newsletter archive or the community home.
• Share the big ones. A 30-day card on Instagram tells new people what your regulars get.
